Abu Dhabi General Services ’Musanada’ today commenced phase three on all Abu Dhabi Future School Programmes (ADFS) initiated by Abu Dhabi Educational Council (ADEC) to promote the educational infrastructure by constructing new world-class schools at various locations in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region.
"The (ADSF) programmes include multiple phases in which Musanada will be responsible of its construction, completion and maintenance. Phase two package three in Al Ain will include three kindergartens, of 360 students’ capacity in each kindergarten," said Dr. Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Director General of Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).
Construction started on the 22nd of March this year and will be accomplished on the 21st of November as scheduled. Musanada is committed to ensuring safety; health and security requirements are fully incorporated and properly implemented in the project complete lifespan to achieve Estidama two pearl building rating certificates.
"Each of the kindergartens will include eighteen class rooms, three indoor break-out areas, multi-purpose hall, a library, kitchens, a services block, and administration offices. The external works covers shaded kids play areas, shaded parking areas, landscape areas provided with irrigation system, drainage and water supply networks, electrical and telephone systems."
"Phase three of the ADFS Programme involves the construction, completion and maintenance of four packages for 10 Schools: five in Abu Dhabi and similar in Al Ain, with the capacity of 1250 student in each school. The completion date for this phase is set on the 29th June 2013," he added.
"This programme aims to build and promote future world-class and sustainable learning environments in line with Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision aimed to provide future generations with all tools and means to well develop and progress systemically, benefiting from the unique environmental, social, economic and cultural aspects of Abu Dhabi", said Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, CEO of Musanada.
"We are pleased to announce our commencement with phase three and we look forward to accomplishing it as per design and construction plans, budget and timeframe set by 420 days."
Abu Dhabi Future School programmes is an ambitious educational initiative launched by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) with the support of Abu Dhabi General Services ‘Musanada’, who is responsible for implementing the project infrastructure. The three pearl Estidama rating programme will see annual plans to develop high quality and well-structured learning environments, implementing new teaching methods and curricula according to the world’s best educational standards and to meet the needs of population growth in the Emirate.
An integral component of the New School Model involves providing students with an access to decent and adequate facilities deemed vital to promote a child-centered learning environment.
