Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) organizes a series of lectures on the importance of the Holy Month of Ramadan in collaboration with the General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
With the first scheduled on July 24, the fifth day of Ramadan, the lectures will be delivered by prominent scholars who are the guests of HH President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan.
The first lecture, entitled "Reflections on Fasting Verses", will be given today by Sheikh Dr. Mohamed Mokhtar Mabrouk, at the Auditorium of Abu Dhabi Educational Office (previously known as Abu Dhabi Educational Zone). Dr. Naji Rashed Hassan Al Arabi will also deliver a lecture at ADEC HQ on Thursday, July 26, while another lecture will be given by Dr. Mohammed Salah Al Deen Al Mistawi at ADEC HQ on Monday, July 30.
In Al Ain, a lecture on Ramadan and Holy Quran will be given by Sheikh Naser Abu Aamer Abdu Al Fatah at Al Ain Educational Office.
The last lecture will be delivered at Al Gharbia Educational Office by Sheikh Ibrahim Rashid Al Marikhi.
All lectures start at 10:30 am except for Al Gharbia Region’s lecture which will start at 9:30 pm.
