Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has been voted “Best International Airline”, as revealed at the Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) Feather Awards on December 7.
The award recognised Etihad Airways’ exemplary service at both Cape Town International Airport and OR Tambo International Airport over the last year.
The ACSA Feather Awards are based on the results of monthly passenger feedback surveys conducted throughout the year, evaluating the following criteria:
• Airline service quality average;
• Quality management system average; and
• 15-minute on-time performance average.
Maurice Phohleli, Etihad Airways’ Country Manager South Africa, said: “We are honoured to have received this recognition, particularly because this feedback has come directly from our guests. To see that our guests recognize and appreciate the high-quality product and attentive service of Etihad Airways is a very gratifying moment. We wish to extend our thanks to all of our loyal guests for their kind support.”
