(28 September 2011)
Event To Be Held From December 7-10 At ADNEC. Only Event Of Its Kind To Address Needs Of Investors And Developers. Exhibitors Include Local And International Developers And Financing Institutions. Dedicated Pavilion For Rental Properties.

The sixth annual Real Estate & Investment Show (IREIS 2011), is set to be held from December 7-10, 2011, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. In light of recent positive developments in the property market, IREIS 2011 will provide prospective buyers with the ideal opportunity to shop for lucrative property and financing deals.

As the only real estate event that explicitly addresses the needs of investors and developers, IREIS 2011 will bring together leading international and regional developers, home finance professionals and other relevant stakeholders to provide a comprehensive perspective on the most promising real estate opportunities in Abu Dhabi and overseas. IREIS 2011 has a special focus on high-value deals that provide significant long-term return on investment.

Antoine Georges, Director of Dome Exhibitions, the organiser of IREIS, said: “IREIS 2011 comes at a very opportune time for both developers and consumers as we see some positive impact on real estate market dynamics, including visa extensions that will allow property buyers to obtain residency visas for three years instead of the current six months. We are also seeing many banks resetting mortgage rates. This reduced cost of lending should further trigger demand for mortgages and real estate financing.

“By bringing developers and other key players in the industry face-to-face with customers at this opportune time, IREIS will further energize the property sector. We believe IREIS 2011 will not only help address customer concerns, but also put forth a holistic outlook for developers, creating an environment that boosts confidence in the sector and increases likelihood of deals,” Georges added.

For the first time, the event will have dedicated space for rentals, wherein real estate agencies from Abu Dhabi and Dubai will have a separate pavilion to showcase their rental properties. In a sign of its growing international profile, the event will also have dedicated country pavilions for Egypt and India, and attendance of some key European developers.

A growing sense of optimism over the recovery of the UAE’s property and banking sectors has helped markets rise and for the past six months, real estate agents have reported increased transactions with prices stabilizing in many neighbourhoods. This is indeed a huge positive in a market where price volatility had been the major challenge over the past two years.

As one of the richest and fastest growing cities in the world, Abu Dhabi has several landmark projects in various stages of completion. Other growth markets in the region will also showcase their innovative projects at the exhibition.

IREIS was introduced to the emerging real estate market of Abu Dhabi in 2005, and has since then achieved growth every year.
