In a move that underlines its status as a strategic destination developer, ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company) has unveiled Marasi Village, a luxury waterfront development comprising 81 luxury villas for sale exclusively to UAE Nationals.
The latest addition to ADNEC’s expanding portfolio of award-winning projects, Marasi Village(www.marasivillage.ae) is located on the shore of the Al Bateen Channel, near the iconic Capital Gate tower and the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre – a commercially significant area, highlighted as a location of strategic importance in Abu Dhabi’s future growth plan.
Unveiling the project during ADNEC’s participation at the ongoing Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2011 - one of the region’s premier real estate events, ADNEC’s Managing Director, H.E. Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri, stated that Marasi Village was a landmark addition to Abu Dhabi’s property market.
“Marasi Village is a unique and luxurious waterfront community on the main island of Abu Dhabi; it has been specifically designed to attract UAE Nationals as home owners.”
Villas will feature high-specification luxury finishes backed by carefully planned communal facilities aimed at creating a thriving sense of community in the traditional sense: a haven of quiet serenity meant for an elite group of individuals.
The six bedroom villas at Marasi Village will each have a plot size of approximately 15,220sqft (1,414sqm), while the four and five bedroom villas have a plot size of approximately 11,862sqft (1,102sqm). Each of the villas come with covered garden terraces, an office, 2 reception rooms, 2 dining rooms, 2 kitchens, with exclusive European-branded, top-of-the-range appliances, 4 balconies, an entrance porch, a maid’s room and a driver’s room, besides multiple parking slots.
All villas are within walking distance to the Marasi’s plentiful communal facilities which include a mosque, community centre, supermarket, café, multi-purpose hall, male and female fitness suites, landscaped grounds, a promenade, and berthing for up to ten vessels. Residents will access the development through a private road which connects from Khaleej Al Arabi Street, besides boat access via Al Bateen channel.
Elaborating on Marasi Village’s strategic position within the ADNEC master plan, H.E. Al Dhaheri, said that the company had invested heavily in recent years to develop the ADNEC site into a vibrant destination combining the very best in entertainment, business and leisure.
“Marasi Village broadens the appeal of the ADNEC site still further; together with our future plans for the area and planned government investment in transport infrastructure, we are convinced that the site - including the Gulf’s largest exhibition centre, the world famous Capital Gate tower, Capital Centre and Marasi Village - will continue to attract both, attention and investment for years to come.”
Besides close proximity to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, home to an eclectic mix of events year-round including entertainment and sporting performances, Marasi residents will also benefit from the varied F&B outlets, numerous hotels, as well as facilities such as the Abu Dhabi International Airport passenger and baggage check-in facility, bank and retail outlets that are part of the overall ADNEC master development.
Thelocationis also close to Al Bateen Executive Airport, Zayed Sports City, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and Armed Forces Officers’ Club (AFOC), with the Abu Dhabi Corniche, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Saadiyat and Yas Island, approximately 15 to 20 minutes driving distance away.
The unveiling of ADNEC’s Marasi Village is a strong vote of confidence in the future of the UAE capital’s long-term real estate potential, as the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre hosts the 2011 edition of Cityscape Abu Dhabi, 17 - 20 April.
