The pair were accompanied by various Belgian CEOs interested in learning more about trade and renewable energy opportunities within the UAE. HE Peeters has been Minister-President of Flanders since 2007. In his capacity, he often leads Flemish economic delegations to different countries, promoting Flemish companies abroad as well as business exchanges.

Dr. Sultan and Masdar City officials also informed the delegation that Masdar recently unveiled a “One Stop Shop” suite of services designed to streamline the establishment of on-site business operations within the Special Economic Zone which affords 100 percent ownership to companies seeking to relocate to the UAE. To date, more than 70 companies have registered and have experience expedited licensing and leasing services.
