“This announcement marks the setting of the first building block of Deyar Al Mafraq project, which has been created to service the demand for individual and family accommodation within the growing hospitality sector of Abu Dhabi,” said Lee Tabler, CEO of TDIC. “We are confident that working together with a reputable company like Bauer International FZE, we can continue to build the necessary foundations to support Abu Dhabi’s long term ambitions.”
While developing the first phase with its two plots, TDIC will lease out the remaining plots to investors from the private sector who will offer robust investment opportunities within the Deyar Al Mafraq project. The facilities of the development, that comprise a total area of 712,000 square metres, with a total gross floor area of 1,670,000 square metres, will have a capacity to house more than 35,000 people who mainly work in the hospitality industry and their family members who reside in the UAE.
