Al Mazrouei: We Work Hand In Hand Towards The Success Of Our Airports

Recognising the valuable contribution to the overall airport experience made by partner organisations and company employees, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) last night hosted the ’Service Quality Recognition Ceremony’ at Emirates Palace. High rank officials from Department of Naturalization and Residency, Police Department Security Ports and Airports, Department of Finance/ Customs, and General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police/ Traffic Abu Dhabi accepted the accolades presented by H.E. Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADAC, on behalf of their respective organisations.

These government bodies were deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to the award winning service quality and passenger experience at Abu Dhabi International Airport, which won this year the prestigious Airport Service Quality Award from Airports Council International (ACI) for the "Most Improved Airport in the Middle East" in passenger satisfaction, followed by the Skytrax award for the "World’s Most Improved Airport".

H.E. Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADAC, commented: "It gives me great pleasure to present these awards to very worthy recipients: Department of Naturalization and Residency, Police Department Security Ports and Airports, Department of Customs, General Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police/ Traffic Abu Dhabi, and employees of ADAC. The work they do every day in our airport forms a seamless bond with our airport services and helps us deliver the service excellence our passengers have come to expect; a standard of service that wins us multiple international awards. Only through our continued close cooperation and joint efforts can we continue to grow and develop as a truly world class airport hub."

H.E. General Obaid Al Hairy Al Kitbi, Deputy Chief Commander Abu Dhabi Police, said: "We feel honoured to accept this accolade side by side with our peers and partners. Abu Dhabi International Airport shows that you can achieve exceptional service and security standards, and we are indebted to our employees for contributing to the creation of a passenger experience second-to-none."

Around 40 individuals from these government bodies also received special awards, acknowledging their personal contribution. The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the organisations receiving the awards, VIP guests, as well as ADAC and Abu Dhabi Airport management.
