Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) will once again assert its strong credentials as an ’employer of choice’ for UAE National candidates as it hosts Tawdheef, Abu Dhabi’s main recruitment event running from February 2 to 4, 2010, at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre.
As well as being the host venue for Tawdheef, ADNEC is a sponsor and a major exhibitor at the event which is presented by the Abu Dhabi Tawteen Council. ADNEC’s 120 sqm stand (B606) at Tawdheef is located in Hall 6.
ADNEC currently employs many UAE Nationals in key positions and has implemented several initiatives such as a unique secondment program held in cooperation with ExCeL London, the UK capital’s largest events venue, which is owned by ADNEC, to maximise Emirati skills and leadership potential.

As a dynamic, rapidly-growing organisation, ADNEC has a range of attractive career opportunities - spread across several different areas of operations and locations - that we feel hold continuing appeal for qualified and talented UAE nationals," he added.
ADNEC, besides being the host venue for some of the UAE’s largest and most well regarded events including IDEX (International Defence Exhibition & Conference), WFES (World Future Energy Summit), ADIPEC (Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference), Cityscape Abu Dhabi and ADIHEX (Abu Dhabi Hunting & Equestrian Exhibition), is responsible for a number of high profile development projects such as Capital Centre, (a mixed-use development of 23 residential, commercial and mixed-use towers adjacent to the exhibition centre), Capital Gate (an iconic 35 storey gravity defying feature tower, featuring the 5-star hotel - ’Hyatt at Capital Centre’) and a 2.4km Marina zone.
ADNEC’s venue portfolio includes the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre - the Gulf’s largest and one of the world’s most modern exhibition centres, and ExCel London, the UK capital’s largest exhibition and conference venue. In addition, ADNEC is expanding within the region, with the Al Ain Convention Centre, a residential and business micro city around a state-of-the-art convention centre.
"At Tawdheef, ADNEC will present the array of career opportunities that are available within the ADNEC Group to qualified candidates: from finance to project management, marketing to venue operations, client liaison to human resources, procurement to protocol, and many more. Our rapid growth and development presents our employees with huge prospects for career development and we are keen to showcase this at the event", noted Al Dhaheri.
ADNEC’s stand has been designed to ensure job-seekers are provided a welcoming and convenient ambience in which they can obtain information and apply for and explore career options at ADNEC. Stand visitors will be received at a reception desk, guided through application formalities and encouraged to submit their CV’s via the kiosks at the stand.
