The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media is organising a promotional roadshow in India from
30 August to 4 September, covering Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad. The initiative forms part of the Department's efforts to strengthen Ajman's presence in key international markets, expand strategic partnerships across the travel and tourism sector, and reinforce the emirate's competitiveness as an attractive global destination.
The roadshow supports the Department's strategic approach to diversifying source markets and deepening engagement with travel agencies, tour operators and tourism companies. Through destination workshops, industry meetings and promotional activities across the three cities, the Department will showcase Ajman's diverse tourism offering and create new opportunities for cooperation with Indian travel trade partners.
The programme will highlight Ajman's cultural and heritage attractions, family and leisure experiences, hospitality offering and distinctive destination character. The Department will also introduce a new incentive initiative designed to encourage partners to develop integrated tourism packages and products tailored to the interests of Indian travellers, supporting increased visitation and sustainable tourism growth.
Beginning in Mumbai before continuing to Chennai and Hyderabad, the roadshow will provide a platform for direct engagement with industry professionals and decision-makers, while supporting greater inclusion of Ajman within tourism programmes promoted by Indian travel companies to the UAE.
His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, said: "India represents a key market within Ajman's strategy to diversify its international visitor base and strengthen its global tourism presence. Through this roadshow, we are deepening our engagement with travel and tourism partners and creating practical opportunities to translate growing interest in Ajman into increased visitation and sustainable tourism flows."
His Excellency added: "Strong public-private sector partnerships are central to Ajman's tourism ambitions. By working closely with our partners in India, we aim to develop tourism products and experiences that respond to traveller preferences, generate shared value and enhance Ajman's competitiveness as a distinctive and accessible destination."
The India roadshow reflects the Department's wider commitment to building a competitive and sustainable tourism ecosystem through market diversification, strategic partnerships and targeted initiatives that stimulate demand. It also reinforces Ajman's position as a destination offering a diverse blend of culture, heritage, leisure, family experiences and hospitality to visitors from around the world.
