ABU DHABI, UAE, October 6/PRNewswire/ -- The winner of this year’s Barbican Turbo Top 100 "Car of the Festival" trophy will receive a 5 star trip for 2 to Switzerland courtesy ofSwiss International Airlines, Switzerland Tourism and Zermatt Tourism.Organised by United Business Media, Barbican Turbo is the Middle East’s hottest custom, tuning, car, motorcycle and motorsports festival to be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), from the 8th - 10th of October 2009.

The out-of-this-world trip will include business class flights, 3 nights in 5 star accommodation in Zermatt, a helicopter flight around the Matterhorn, a gorge adventure, summer skiing and a monster scooter ride and be presented on the final day of the festival at the Barbican stage in the Top 100 hall.
The Judges for this year include Head Judge Bear Garcia - ex West Coast Customs mechanic in the United States and star of the television programme by the same name; Jeremy Klimowicz, also ex-West Coast Customs in the United States and Mitchell Perera from Liberty Motorsports in Sharjah.
The Top 100 show car competition has come along way since its debut at the first Barbican Turbo last year. There are 67 awards on offer including a mix of trophies and certificates, several different categories including SUV, sedan, sports car, 4x4 lifted, classic car, classic truck, luxury/exotic and truck/van, classes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and several "Best of" trophies. Judges will also use scorecards to determine the overall winner’s and in order to make the competition fair they will not be able to vote for any car which their own company has made modifications.
Other competitions to engage the local community and their customised rides at Barbican Turbo this year, include the 1st UAE National Dyno Shoot Out engine challenge by Mainline to find the overall Power Champion of the U.A.E., the 2nd UAE National Sound-Off competition by the Society of Auto Owners and Filipino Expatriates who will judge the "Loudest Stereo" and "Best Installed" awards and the Graffiti competition with Marc Ecko watches.

In addition to the competitions car fans will be able to see demos from the European Drift Championships and the latest in styling, performance products and modified cars and bike; exhibitors such as RTX Ltd, Motor Center, Konig Wheels, OWS-Germany, KTM, Chrome and Carbon, the Emirates Driving Institute, Desert Rage Buggies, Abu Dhabi Police, Advanced Expedition Vehicles, Motorola, Rivoli, Skyline Exhausts, The Lounge and the Car Audio People will be on display too.
Further entertainment will be provided by the Gaming zone from EA Games and Red Entertainment, music from Chrome and Carbon and courtesy of Barbican - Crazy Blend cocktail flarers from the U.K., Deco Spray graffiti
artists from Paris, Neekoe and the Riddim Dane street dance crew, DJ’s David Craig and Radio 1’s Selena and headliners Swerte and Young Vaughn.
