Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) will host a slew of prestigious events and exhibitions, in fields as varied as surface transport, education, medical tourism, marine recreation, financial technology and international franchises in the month of October.
The 26th World Road Congress, organised by the World Road Association and Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, has started this week and will extend till October 10. The event will gather experts and stakeholders to exchange knowledge on various aspects of developing surface transport infrastructure and road transport policy and practices.
From October 15 to 17, World Medical Tourism and Global Healthcare Congress will debate various aspects related to medical travel, facilities and pricing in different countries, medical insurance, and the means to ensure the robustness of the travelling health and wellness seeker.
The UAE National Service Careers Fair will feature at ADNEC from October 13 to 15.
Meanwhile Abu Dhabi International Boat Show 2019 (ADIBS 2019), organised by Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, will bring together 350 local and international companies displaying the latest trends in luxury yachts, leisure marine and fishing equipment industries to the ADNEC Marina from October 16 to 19. The four-day event is expected to draw 25,000 visitors to the venue. The 31,000 sqm ADNEC Marina will provide the facility to berth the luxury yachts and leisure vessels on display in front of their respective corporate decks.
On the same days, i.e., from October 16 to 19, ADNEC will be venue of the multi-disciplinary third Abu Dhabi Ambulatory Healthcare International Congress, gathering experts who will debate innovative approaches in the practice of family and community medicine.
ADNEC will host an array of prestigious international conferences and exhibitions in the month of October. ADNEC's portfolio of specialised services and facilities will ensure the convenience of delegates attending these events to examine the evolving international scenario in their respective fields and debate the latest innovative concepts and systems.
Meanwhile, the seventh edition of the International Franchise Exhibition, organised by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and scheduled to be hosted at the venue from October 22 to 23, will bring together local and international companies specialising in a variety of fields such as tourism, hospitality, trade, health, education, and retail, along with franchise societies from the UAE and around the world to explore possibilities of expanding business in the region.
FinTech Abu Dhabi, set to run from October 21-23, is the leading financial event of the Mena region, creating the chance for the world's latest financial technology start-ups, scale-ups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to network with potential investors and senior corporate decision-makers.
An impactful event relating to education and curriculum, the IB Global Conference will be held here from October 24 to 26. It will examine creative ideas offered by educators drawn from a diverse range of countries and cultures in the region, in order to further optimise the spirit of enquiry and engagement among students following the IB curriculum.
Najah 2019, hosting representatives from more than 150 local and international institutions of higher education will be another impactful event in the field of education. It will be held at ADNEC on October 30 and November 1.
Games Con Featuring Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC) will feature for three days at the venue from October 24 to 26.
The 26th International Jewellery and Watch Show (JWS) Abu Dhabi that will be held from October 25 to 29 will display the latest trends in watch design and exquisite fashion jewellery from around the world.
On October 29, the 37th World Congress of Endourology, the world's foremost meeting dedicated to minimally invasive urologic surgery, will kick start at ADNEC for a run up to November 2, while the next day, the two-day consumer-focused International Real Estate and Investment Show (IREIS) will descend on the venue.
The three-day Heritage Middle East, which started at ADNEC last month on September 30 drew to a close on October 2. It brought together museum designers, architects, art historians and conservators who deliberated on future artistic and cultural projects in the Arab world.
Meanwhile, the 10-day Al Ain Book Fair was featured at the Al Ain Convention Centre (AICC) from September 24 till October 3.
