The Department of Transport (DoT) in Abu Dhabi announced a new free bus service "Hail and Ride" in Abu Dhabi and its suburbs.

The service in its pilot phase will start in Mussafah for free.

The new service will transport the public from different sectors in the area to the main bus stops there. The service is available every day from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm within specified routes.

It is asserted that this service contributes to the improvement of the Public Transport Network by facilitating the daily transport of the public.

DoT strives to regulate and improve the Transport Network by following the best international practices that mainly support the economy of the Emirate. DoT will evaluate the customers’ feedback and their level of satisfaction to improve the service. It will also study the possibility of implementing it later in other areas in Abu Dhabi.
