National Library Summer Reading Programme launched in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi’s National Library has launched its inaugural Summer Reading Programme across the emirate’s public libraries, opening up a range of activities and events designed to encourage reading throughout the summer school break.

The extensive line-up of activities are designed to meet the interests of children and youngsters of all ages and provide them with psychological, environmental and social knowledge, as well as technical skills in various fields. The programme will also introduce participants to many global cultures, as they learn from various sources of knowledge through reading activities and diverse performances.

Participating public libraries in the Abu Dhabi include Khalifa Park library, Zayed Central library, Mazyad library, Al Bahia library, Al Wathba library, and Al Marfa library.
