Dar Zayed for Family Care (DZFC) has launched 21 initiatives and events for orphans and children without parental care on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The programme featured lectures organised in association with the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments and presented by the President's guest scholars.

Nabil Al Dhahiri, Director-General of the DZFC, said that the charity will organise giving event to echo the late Sheikh Zayed's spirit of giving and love. "We will also sponsor some of the orphans to go to Umrah under the Year of Zayed initiative," he added.

The charity is also gearing up for Zayed Humanitarian Work Day. This is an annual event held on the 19th of Ramadan to commemorate the UAE founder, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The activity focuses on immortalising the good deeds of the charitable Zayed and to establish the culture of Humanitarian work in the staff, new reverts and surrounding society.
