Manazel Real Estate has won the Housing and Urban Development Award at the 2018 Global Infrastructure Congress, GIC. The award was presented by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Infrastructure Development.

The award is a recognition of Manazel’s 'Ghantoot Waterfront Project' and its continued support for public and private developments and promoting energy efficiencies and sustainable developments.

Commenting on the award, Manazel’s Chairman Mohamed M. Al Qubaisi, said, "I am honoured to see our waterfront project in the Ghantoot area being recognised and acknowledged at the Global Infrastructure Congress 2018. It is certainly a proud moment that reflects our diversification strategy to drive future growth through unique developments and real estate projects that service various consumer segments in the UAE and wider GCC region."

Manazel’s Ghantoot Waterfront Project is located in the Ghantoot area between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and is expected to generate estimated revenue in the range of AED2.6 – 2.8 billion. The 1.4 million sqm project will consist of residential villas of various sizes, a resort and community facilities.

The GIC 2018 award aimed at recognising the best ideas, initiatives, projects and solutions that enable and showcase future-ready and sustainable infrastructure.
