The Zayed Mobile Clinic has provided medical care and treatment to thousands of workers across the country as part of Year of Zayed.
The clinic operates in collaboration with the Zayed Giving initiative, Dar Al Ber Society, Sharjah Charity House and the Saudi-German Hospital to carry out its charitable medical mission to care for workers without distinction to race, sex, religion or ethnicity.
Dr. Reem Othman, Humanitarian Work Ambassador, said voluntary world-class diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive services were provided to workers at their places of residence.
"Thousands of workers have benefited from these services. Our strategic plan is to reach out to 100,000 workers," she stated.
Dr. Adel Al Shamri, CEO of Zayed Giving Initiative, said the humanitarian mission is a tribute to the workers for their contribution to the national sustainable development process.
"The clinic has made a qualitative shift in the medical services offered to workers and constituted a valuable addition to services provided by public and private caregivers," he added.
