The Department of Transport, DoT, in Abu Dhabi has organised the 'Unique Creations Bazaar' in collaboration with Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs, Enable Enterprise, Ministry of Community Development and Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services.

The bazaar offered products made by the Determined Ones (people with disability) and provided them an opportunity to sell and market their projects and initiatives. The event is in line with DoT’s endeavour to support the disabled and help integrate them into society.

The two-day bazaar recently took place in DoT’s HQ in Abu Dhabi and was attended by a number of employees and stakeholders representatives from different entities.

Among the creative products on sale were paintings by Huda Al Kaabi, an artist born with a quadratic Cerebral Palsy. Al Kaabi paints with her eye movement using a specialised programme that tracks the gaze’s interaction. Her abstract paintings are turned into greeting cards.

In addition, the jewellery brand 'Qelada' for products created by 'People of Determination', also featured in the bazar. The brand displayed hand-made jewelry designs including necklaces and bracelets.
