ADP Completes 3.4 Million Transactions Via Smart Applications, Customer Centres In 2017

The Abu Dhabi Police's, ADP, Central Operations completed 3,425,959 transactions in 2017, including 2,134,895 transactions via its customer happiness centres and 1,291,064 via smart applications.

Brigadier Ibrahim Nasser Al Shamsi, Director of the Vehicle and Driver Licensing at ADP, urged customers to benefit from the smart services on their website and smartphone applications without having to travel to service centres, as well as to not hesitate to submit feedback that will help to improve their services and promote community partnerships.

He went on to say that their vehicle services include new registrations through agencies and showrooms, renewing vehicle licences, and issuing lost allowances and certificates that include expiry and clearance dates.

Al Shamsi pointed out that this major achievement in the number of e-transactions highlights the willingness of customers to use smart services.

He added that the Abu Dhabi Police website provides a range of services for customers without them having to travel to service centres. After registering on the website they can view and update their profiles, work and home address, phone numbers and financial statements, as well as safely pay traffic fines with a credit card.

The website also provides driver safety awareness advice and instructions and stresses the importance of performing regular vehicle maintenance and changing of tyres, as well as other factors related to general safety and the operation of technical inspection stations.
