Athletes who have been participating in Special Olympics IX MENA Games Abu Dhabi 2018 over the last three days were treated to a Culture Day as part of their visit to the UAE's capital for the Games. The Local Organizing Committee of the IX MENA Games took them on a tour of key cultural sites including Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the Louvre. 

Tim Shriver, Special Olympics International Chairman, Mary Davis, Special Olympics International CEO and Ayman Abdel Wahab, Regional President and Managing Director of the Special Olympics MENA Region joined the athletes for the day.
