Sorouh Real Estate PJSC, one of Abu Dhabi’s leading real estate developers, received today the Special Academic/Industry Partnership Award at the Tamayyuz Partnership Celebration held at Abu Dhabi Women’s College. Sorouh was recognized for its association with Abu Dhabi’s Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). Over the last year Sorouh has donated AED 1,600,000 to support the HCT’s new bachelor’s program in Real Estate Management.
The celebration, attended by His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mubarak Nahayan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and HCT Chancellor,was a recognition of the outstanding contributions made by HCT’s community partners and students. The event was in conjunction with the Desert Rose Exhibition which showcases over 100 artworks by 16 HCT students.
Sorouh’s Chairman Saeed Eid Al Ghafli presented the cheque of AED 1,600,000 to HCT at the event in honor of Sorouh’s financial contribution to the real estate development scholarship fund.
The rigorous Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration (Real Estate Management), the first in the UAE, has been designed to equip graduates with the knowledge & skills necessary to forge successful careers in the real estate industry.
Commenting on the award, Mr. Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of Sorouh Real Estate, said, “We are proud to receive this award from Abu Dhabi’s Higher College of Technology and to be recognized for our contribution to such an important initiative.
