The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi took part in the second edition of Prolight + Sound Middle East, an industry trade fair dedicated to the entertainment, event, media and creation industries. 

Sultan Al Dhaheri, Acting Executive Director, Tourism Sector, from the Department, attended on the opening morning of the three-day event to take part in a panel discussion focussing on what factors are instrumental in shaping cultural projects from a government perspective.  

Also on the panel were Haitham Mattar, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority and Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
 
The dedicated industry trade fair ran from 17th to 19th October at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, where a series of product launches, a brand new conference, and technical certification courses shared centre stage.
