Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), the master developer of major tourism, leisure and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi,n announced today the launch of Amwaj, a new community centre that offers a diverse range of outlets to service Saadiyat residents and visitors in a ceremony attended by senior TDIC management.
Located within the Saadiyat Beach Villas, the 2,052 square metre, Mediterranean-style centre features retail and dining outlets, including Waitrose supermarket which has opened its doors to residents and visitors of the community today. Other retail stores include Starbucks, Tips & Toes beauty salon, Circle Café, and Al Manara Pharmacy which are scheduled to open in the near future. The centre will also feature a nursery, providing an
environment that will allow little ones to learn and play. The Redwood Saadiyat Nursery follows the Montessori Method, which is an educational approach that was developed by Italian physician and educator Maria Montessori in 1897. Furthermore, the centre features parking spaces for approximately 75 vehicles.
The residential community on Saadiyat benefits from access to a wide range of hospitality, leisure and retail offerings currently available in the Saadiyat Beach District. These include The St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi and its popular retail destination The Collection, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Saadiyat Beach Club, and more.
