The Abu Dhabi Tourism Development and Investment Company, TDIC, has announced the appointment of ART Marine company as operator of its marinas located at the Eastern Mangroves complex and at Marsa Al Bateen.
The Eastern Mangroves Marina has 30 berths that can house boats and yachts from 8 to 33 metres long, and Marsa Al Bateen has two marinas that can dock a total of 372 vessels from 10 to 30 metres in length. It also has the GCC’s first commercial dry stack that can house up to 138 boats as long as nine metres.
Sufian H. Al Marzooqi, TDIC’s Chief Executive Officer, said, "The appointment of ART Marine as our new marina operator reflects our ongoing commitment to providing high quality services to boat owners and their guests. We are confident that ART Marine will enhance our marine-based offerings in Abu Dhabi even further, and we look forward to welcoming boat owners to both Eastern Mangroves Marina and Marsa Al Bateen."
Gregor Stinner, ART Marine’s Chief Executive Officer, said, "Our key success is that we speak the same language as our clients, not only in terms of the 10 national languages of our team, but also the understanding of boat ownership and its trials and tribulations. In this way, we can communicate effectively with our members, and truly anticipate their needs with ART Marine’s 360-degree leisure marine offering, from berthing to service, yacht sales to chandlery."
Stinner concluded, "The UAE is renowned for its high levels of hospitality and service, and this is something we carry through to people’s boating experiences, and when it comes to yachting, ensuring members have the least inconvenience in arriving, getting their boat out on the water, returning and then administering their boating experience are the key areas we focus on. By creating a smooth process of transition for boat owners and their guests, it sets them up for a great day out on the water."
