Ahead of live shows at du Forum in Yas Island at the end of this week as part of Abu Dhabi Summer Season, the star of the fascinating TV phenomenon Mythbusters, Adam Savage, took some time out from preparing his exceptionally entertaining experiments to explore Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, within the emirate's ground-breaking Masdar City.

Adam ventured deep into the inner workings of the fascinating facility, which conducts research into alternative energy, environmental sustainability, and clean technology, to meet students and check out the scientific set-up of the labs in the Institute.

The graduate-level university is part of the sprawling  Masdar City, a specialised, research and technology-intensive municipality on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi City, which will ultimately incorporate a living environment.

Adam bring his signature style of explosive experimentation to du Forum on August 13, 14 and 15, presented by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) and organised by Alchemy Project.
