Speaking ahead of Cityscape Abu Dhabi 2015, Sameh Muhtadi, CEO, Bloom Holding, said: “Bloom has a diversified project portfolio that spans key sectors across the MENA region. We will mark our participation in Cityscape Abu Dhabi, with the launch a number of projects that will start construction this year including Park View project in Saadiyat Island and Stella Maris Tower in Dubai marina. During Cityscape Abu Dhabi, we will also seek to attract major investors and update them on our latest offerings across different sectors, while highlighting Abu Dhabi’s favourable investment climate, economic stability, and robust growth rates in key sectors, especially real estate."
Among its latest offerings, Bloom Properties’ Park View project in Saadiyat Island features a wide range of luxury-based experiences under one roof, including hospitality, leisure and retail facilities. The mixed used project located opposite the world famous New York University campus will offer 234 residential units and 188 hotel apartments ranging from studio to 2 bedroom apartments, and a wide variety of retail, amenities and facilities. This project, due to its location and finishes, represents a smart address while offering outstanding investment opportunities.
The Stella Maris Tower, on the other hand, aims to become one of the most successful waterfront developments in the city, offering residents a lifestyle unlike any other. The 52-storey project is located in the Dubai marina and will integrate with the urban surrounding while including retail, F&B, gym, pool and other amenities. Overlooking the marina, Arabian Gulf and Dubai Eye project the development will boast 279 residential units encompassing 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments as well as townhouses and penthouses.
In 2012, Bloom Properties successfully delivered phase 1 of Bloom Gardens, an exclusive residential community strategically located on the elegant Eastern Mangrove Corniche on Abu Dhabi Island, featuring 123 detached and semi-detached villas. The construction of phase 2 comprising 129 villas including 55 villas up for sale commenced in July 2014. Bloom Properties offers an attractive payment plan for this phase, giving buyers the option to pay upfront just 25 per cent of the total property price.
Bloom Gardens is also home to Brighton College Abu Dhabi. Launched in 2011, the school has an enrolment of over 1,400 students. Additionally, Bloom set up a 10-hectare Brighton College campus in Al Ain in September 2013. The school was awarded the A2 rating by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), the highest grade achieved by a new school in the emirate of Abu Dhabi. Plans are also underway to invest in similar educational projects across the GCC countries.
Bloom also opened the Bloom Business Center within the Sowwah square on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Located in Sila Tower, the Bloom Business Center offers convenient and ready-to-use offices, commercial spaces, equipped meeting rooms and conference facilities, and indoor parking.
Bloom Central, the 25-storey mixed-use development currently under construction, will house two properties managed and operated by Marriott International – the five-star 315-room Abu Dhabi Marriott Hotel and the 64 key Marriott Executive Apartments in Abu Dhabi city. Additionally, Bloom Central will feature 49 two-three bedroom residences and 7,000 sq meters of office space.
Abu Dhabi Marina is another landmark Bloom Properties project, featuring upscale residences, executive serviced apartments, health clubs, hotel, cafes and restaurants. Encircled by the spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf in the heart of the city, the project - currently under construction in the Marina Al Bateen area - will feature upon completion 200 hotel rooms and 57 executive apartments, as well as two residential buildings comprising 225 apartments ranging from one to four bedrooms. Expected to see completion in 2016, Abu Dhabi Marina will host 3,000 square meters of premium waterfront retail attractions.
Bloom Properties is engaged in building a portfolio of sizeable real estate projects in the Middle East and other emerging markets to meet the growing demand for quality housing units in these regions.
