Building on the Special Care Centre event at its iconic headquarters, Aldar Properties PJSC, Abu Dhabi's leading listed property development, investment and management company, continued its 43rd National Day celebrations last week at Du Arena on Yas Island.

The four day festival, celebrating the nations heritage,  hosted entertaining activities for the entire family, including a Bedouin Market, traditional Emirati sweets, aspiring local clothing and accessory brands, henna, Tannoura dancing, tribal drums, Oud playing, horse-back and camel rides.

One of the highlights for festival goers was the large hot air balloon from which passengers had a bird's eye view of the Capital city.  Du Arena was Abu Dhabi's big top for the week with circus acts like jugglers, unicyclists, stilt walkers, speed painters and magicians. Ribbon, break, capoeira, and fire dancers, delighted audiences with everything from headspins to pirouettes.

On Thursday and Friday, the stage became alive with the sounds of the best traditional and contemporary acts and performers from across the region.
