Al Hilal Bank has today (Sunday, February 23, 2014) held a Signing Ceremony for its Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with the UAE Wrestling, Judo and Kick Boxing Federation at the Al Hilal Headquarters at Al Bahar Towers, Abu Dhabi as part of its nationwide sports advocacy.
Under the terms of the agreement, the UAE Wrestling, Judo and Kick Boxing Federation will offer free membership to UAE Nationals enrolled under Al Hilal Bank’s special ‘Seghaar’ account which provides products and services specifically for young clients. Non-national account holders, on the other hand, can avail of a 50 per cent membership discount. All Seghaar customers will benefit from a 50 per cent discount on the Federation’s uniforms.
In addition, Al Hilal Bank has pledged to set aside a substantial budget in support of one event or tournament held by the Federation within a year. The Federation in turn will offer free classes and demonstrations during special events organized or supported by Al Hilal Bank.

This initiative enables us to pursue two passions that are close to our heart: harnessing the potential of children and contributing to national sports development. We invite our young Seghaar clients to take advantage of this great opportunity to actively engage in sports with the help of one of the UAE’s most distinguished sports organizations,” said Saif Al Dhaheri, Chief Operating Officer, Al Hilal Bank.

The UAE Wrestling, Judo and Kick Boxing Federation is the country’s official organizing and managing party for all concerns related to the three sports it represents. It has successfully hosted various regional, continental and international sports championships over the past years.
