Al Qudra Holding has inaugurated on Wednesday the 23rd of April 2014“Sheikh ZayedPalace Museum” located in Ain Al Fayda in Al Aincity, under the distinguished patronage of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Eastern Region and in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hazaa bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, General Manager of the Ruler’s Representative Court in the Eastern Region and His Excellency, Sheikh Hamed bin Ahmed Al Hamed, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Qudra Holding.
The museum tells the story of the legendary leader,His Highness the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan founder ofthe UAE,whom with his wise vision and leadership reshaped the country to become one of the most modern nations today. It is worth mentioning that the palace was once occupied byHis Highness the late Sheikh Zayed.
The museum is a true reflection of the country’s rich culture and heritage.The transformation of Sheikh Zayed’s Palace in Al Aininto a museum, is in an effort by Al Qudra Holding to preserve the essence of the traditional Emarati lifestyle and to pay tribute to Sheikh Zayed’sremarkable accomplishments indulging the society with a sense of the pasttoday and for generations to come.
The beauty of the museum lies in its simplicity yet, it is adorned in elegance. The museum is surrounded by greenery and ample palm trees synonymous with the UAE culture. The Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum, features photographs from the life of the late Sheikh Zayedfromearly childhood, as well as displaying an archive of photographs with leading luminaries from around the world.
The inauguration of Sheikh Zayed Palace Museum and Cultural Village, plays an integral role in honoring the historic achievements of this nation as well as highlighting the cultural heritage and rich history to its people.
Following the inauguration ceremony, Al Qudra Holding unveiled the Al Ain cultural village where visitors can watch Bedouin women at work while exploring traditional handmade crafts such as clothes, spices, date palm products etc. The opening of the cultural village comes within the company’s strategy to support Emiratis in an effort to preserve authentic local tradition.
