Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) has signed a 10 year partnership with JCDecaux Out Of Home FZ-LLC, a subsidiary of JCDecaux SA, the number one outdoor advertising company in the world, to operate exclusively the advertising concession at Abu Dhabi International Airport, Al Bateen Executive Airport, the only business aviation airport in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and Al Ain International Airport.
The agreement which will further develop the airports’ indoor and outdoor advertising network will also introduce impressive state-of-the-art technology: high definition LCD screens, spectacular video walls and interactive innovative digital technology that is entertaining and informative to passengers. These solutions will provide increased added value for the airport, its passengers and the brands it hosts as well as further enhance the airports’ current environment, complementing Abu Dhabi International Airport’s existing high quality services. The advertising technology will contribute to making it one of the region’s best airports as determined by Airports Council International (ACI).
Abu Dhabi International Airport’s high profile and diverse demographic passengers, with annual double digit growth in passenger traffic and the anticipated 16.5 million passengers traveling through the airport this year, makes it a unique and attractive location for effective advertising. With figures expected to reach up to 20 million passengers by 2015, both ADAC and JCDecaux will be able to engage passengers with the latest media displays and will allow businesses to communicate and provide a market to captivate upscale audiences providing a positive travel experience.
