The Gulf Centre for Aviation Studies (GCAS), the training arm of Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), and AVTECH Middle East signed a partnership agreement at GCAS headquarters in Abu Dhabi last week. The agreement will facilitate the offering of leading aviation training modules for the first time in the Middle East focused on key operational areas.
With the rapid growth of the aviation sector in the Middle East, it is vital that training courses are linked to the latest technology advances and improvements. The new courses, that are now available in the region through the GCAS/AVTECH partnership, are unique in their method of offering as they are linked to real life operational requirements and best practice. The courses will include modules on Performance Based Operations, Collaborative Decision Making, Airborne CNS/ATM as well as Quality Management, Auditing and Human Factors courses and will be delivered at GCAS by subject matter expertise.
