Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, announced today it has started leasing Saadiyat Beach Residences, a new high-quality residential community on Saadiyat island which will be available for occupancy in November. TDIC’s sales and leasing team has begun accepting bookings for these exceptional apartments with annual rental prices starting from AED 70,000 for a one-bedroom apartment.
Developed to exceptionally high-end standards, the residences are set across six low-rise apartment buildings situated in a private gated community that are being developed in two phases consisting of 495 residences. Phase one, which has been completed, consists of 285 residences of one- to three-bedroom apartments finished to the high class standards reflective of Saadiyat’s prestigious lifestyle and luxurious residential communities. Phase two consists of 210 residences of one- to four-bedroom apartments and will be completed in 2013.
Ahmed Al Fahim, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, Sales and Leasing at TDIC, stated: “We are delighted to introduce such a new top-quality and exclusive residential community on Saadiyat to the market for leasing. With the success we are witnessing with our residential portfolio and the high level of interest we continuously receive from prospective residents, we are confident Saadiyat Beach Residences will be just as appealing and an ideal opportunity for people searching for reasonably priced apartments in Abu Dhabi.”
The residences boast a number of state-of-the-art facilities – from ample parking spaces dedicated for residents and visitors to special outdoor covered barbecue areas with kitchenettes. Reflective of Saadiyat’s healthy living standards, there are various sports and leisure facilities including lap and kids’ swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, multi-purpose courts, fully-equipped gymnasiums, and prayer rooms separate for males and females.
The apartments, with their premium allure, are available in two distinct architectural styles: Arabesque, which is inspired by the region’s culture and houses elegant domed windows complemented by subtle interior geometric patterns and mosaics; and Mediterranean, which feature a rich colour palette of earthy autumnal hues, warm terracotta and handcrafted mosaic tiles with design elements that truly reflect Mediterranean ambience. The apartments comprise structural canopies with intelligent use of inner courtyard aspects that add a unique composition to the architecture and the landscaping, while spacious outdoor terraces and balconies create a relaxing atmosphere with their shaded areas.
Designed by GHD, one of the world’s leading engineering, architecture and environmental consulting companies, the apartments feature premium finishes and fittings. The interiors are spacious and fitted with elegant stainless steel Bosch appliances in kitchens across the apartments, while accents of premium stone are used in the kitchens and bathrooms, along with distinctive fittings throughout. The kitchen and bathroom joineries are finished with timber veneer and the wardrobes are cream-coloured in matt-lacquered finish. Each residence has Duravit sanitary ware, Hans Grohe tapware, as well as granite marble counter tops and high-quality porcelain tiles. Spotlights are found in the dining areas, and wall niche detailing is subtly portrayed throughout the master bathrooms.
“The high quality finishing, exquisite architectural styles and various community offerings distinguish Saadiyat Beach Residences as a unique residential community in the Abu Dhabi market, making these apartments stand out in their exclusive offering and unique design,” stated Al Fahim.
In 2013, a number of important community services and developments will be open to serve residents in the area. These include a purpose-built nursery, which will be managed by an internationally-recognised academic operator and will accommodate up to 120 children. A retail centre offering day-to-day conveniences is also set to be developed and will feature a grocery store, pharmacy, hair and nail salon and coffee shop. Other amenities include a mosque, ladies beach club and international school.
Residents will enjoy a number of privileges and benefits including discount for membership at the highly-exclusive Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat as well as lower rates for early bookings and for move-in before end of November 2012. In addition, residents who wish to experience other high-end residences will have the opportunity to transfer to any of TDIC’s real estate portfolio including the prestigious villas and apartments of The Residences at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Saadiyat Beach Villas and Eastern Mangroves Residences – with no exit charge and minimum notice period.
The appeal of Saadiyat Beach Residences is due to the exclusive lifestyle that the island offers its community through a superb mix of luxury villas, high-end townhouses and elite apartments, as well as the world-class cultural institutions, such as the Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, that will start to launch from 2015.
The apartments are located in the island’s hospitality hotspot and the Gulf’s ultimate luxury residential destination – the Saadiyat Beach District – offer a centralised full community. Adjacent to Saadiyat Beach Residences is the luxury Saadiyat Beach Villas development which features high-end luxury homes in gated communities. Also nearby is the Saadiyat Beach Golf Views, an area situated in the heart of the island’s lush green golf course with limited land plots for sale that giving potential homeowners an exclusive opportunity to build their dream homes.
Saadiyat Beach Residences also enjoy a prime location next door to a collection of international five-star resorts, such as the 377-room St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and 270-room Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi. The island’s top-class sport and leisure facilities – such as the region’s first championship beachfront golf course, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, and the world’s first Monte-Carlo Beach Club outside of Monaco, the Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat – are making Saadiyat a very appealing residential address.
