Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC), master developer of major tourism, cultural and residential destinations in Abu Dhabi, today announced a limited number of land plots for sale on the most prized location of Saadiyat island, giving potential homeowners an exclusive opportunity to build their dream home in this world-class destination.
The land plots, which make up the Saadiyat Beach Golf Views, are situated in the heart of the Saadiyat Beach Golf Course - the Arabian Gulf’s first beachfront championship course designed by golfing legend Gary Player. Surrounded by Saadiyat’s high-end residential community, comprising The Residences at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort and Saadiyat Beach Villas, the Views will consist of 29 villas set in a tranquil, lush green environment that are walking distance from the azure Arabian Gulf waters - making this Abu Dhabi’s most prestigious and elitist address for future residents.
Ahmed Al Fahim, Executive Director of Marketing, Communications, Sales and Leasing at TDIC, stated: "Following the incredible success of residents who have made Saadiyat their new home as well as the increasing demand from prospective homeowners who wish to build their own dream home in an exceptional way on the island, we felt the need to offer land plots for sales in a most exclusive setting.
"We are exclusively marketing these 29 land plots with an attractive pricing value which we are confident will appreciate as the island becomes a regional hotspot with its superior educational institutions, beach clubs, various upscale leisure facilities and world-class cultural establishments, such as the Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi," explained Al Fahim.
The land plots vary in sizes, ranging between 2,100 square metres and 5,100 square metres, while pricing starts from approximately Dhs8m. Buyers will have the freedom to design and build their villas according to their architectural wishes. Since the highest standards of luxury is embedded in the blueprint of Saadiyat Beach Golf Views, TDIC has set specific guidelines for potential homeowners to abide by, such as a three-year duration to complete the construction of the property from the initial date of purchase. Buyers have the option to choose their own architectural firms and interior designers, or assign TDIC to develop their properties.
"We expect there will be immediate demand on these land plots and we have introduced incentives to lure in an ideal calibre of distinguished end-users who wholeheartedly want to make this privileged community their home." stated Al Fahim.
A major part of Saadiyat’s impressive success and appeal is due to the exclusive lifestyle that the island offers to its residents. In 2011, Saadiyat came to life, as various exciting hospitality and cultural projects launched, helping to secure the island’s appeal as an inviting destination for residents and visitors. In November 2011, TDIC opened the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi - a stunning 377-room hotel, which features an impressive spa and a wide variety of fine dining restaurants. Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel and Villas, developed by Abu Dhabi National Hotels company (ADNH), also opened its doors on the island, offering 270 rooms, a multi-functional event facility, a spa, and a number of restaurants. The island’s new offerings, together with the already opened Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat and Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, are set on one of the most pristine beaches the UAE has to offer, making Saadiyat a very appealing residential address.
More recently, Saadiyat Beach Villas has witnessed its first residents move in as the first phase of 264 villas neared completion. This development features high-end luxury homes in gated communities consisting of landscaped parks, play areas for children, swimming pools, state-of-the-art gymnasiums, and basketball and squash courts. The second phase will see 90 villas delivered by the end of 2012.
Saadiyat Beach Golf Views is in close proximity to The Collection at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, an exclusive retail complex that consists of a mix of 22 restaurants and retail outlets. Everyday shopping needs are catered for with a supermarket, as well as other conveniences such as a pharmacy, hairdressing and nail salon, a bank and gift shops.
A number of important community services are expected to be sprouting up soon in the vicinity. These include a purpose-built nursery, which will be managed by an internationally-recognised academic operator and will accommodate up to 120 children. A retail centre offering day-to-day conveniences is also set to be developed, which will feature a grocery store, pharmacy, hair and nail salon and coffee shop. Other amenities include a mosque, ladies beach club and international school. These developments will be completed by 2013.
