Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), master developer of Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, today donated an ambulance to The Red Crescent Authority (RCA). The donation forms part of the company’s continued commitment to social responsibility through supporting the local community and charities.
Rashid Mubarak Al Mansouri head of the RCA Abu Dhabi, praised TDIC’s initiative and its support for the charitable organisation. Al Mansouri emphasised that the Emirate’s various governmental institutions were playing a valuable role in supporting the Red Crescent’s work. “The business sector is a key partner of the UAE Red Crescent’s various activities and programmes; in turn, this support strengthens the role of the authority and helps us to meet the growing need for humanitarian action and assisting the poor.”
Sultan Al Mahmoud, Executive Director of Strategic Performance at TDIC, who handed the ambulance to Red Crescent, said: “Through this donation, TDIC reaffirms its commitment to CSR and supporting humanitarian issues. TDIC acknowledges the important role played by Red Crescent in assisting the needy in various parts of the world.”
