Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) and Abu Dhabi General Services (Musanada) today announced the signing of a three-year contract worth AED 3 Million to host Musanada’s data centre at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
The agreement was signed today at ADAC headquarters in the presence of senior executives from both companies, followed by an inauguration ceremony at the data centre located in Terminal 3 of the Airport. The initiative acts as a platform for further collaboration between the Information and Communication Systems (ICS) team in ADAC and Musanada to develop IT solutions, and to promote healthy cooperation amongst government entities on the grounds of mutual financial benefits.
In this regard, James E. Bennett, ADAC’s CEO, stated: “Abu Dhabi Airports Company offers diversified services to aviation and non aviation industries through its fully fledged facilities around its airports and subsidiaries. We welcome Musanada onboard and thank them for choosing ADAC as their data centre hosting provider.”
H.E. Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, Musanada’s CEO, stated: “Musanada is delighted to enter into a strategic agreement with ADAC that will optimize and streamline our internal IT infrastructure allowing us to support the delivery of e-Government initiatives in the Capital. This agreement is in line with the Abu Dhabi General Services Company’s commitment to providing world-class cost effective services to government entities in the Capital, thereby fulfilling its mission of supporting Abu Dhabi to become one of the top five governments in the world.”
ADAC’s data centre is operated and maintained to the highest international standards to provide a distinct hosting environment for the computer servers of ADAC, its airports and subsidiaries, as well as other external clients such as Musanada. The agreement forms part of ADAC’s strategy to attract new clients to utilise its data centre hosting services.
