Abu Dhabi’s 2017 GDP estimates at current prices was AED832,470 million
Abu Dhabi's 2017 GDP estimates at current prices was AED 832,470 million compared with AED 760,396 million in 2016, according to the Statistical Yearbook of Abu Dhabi 2018 released by the Statistics Centre - Abu Dhabi (SCAD) on Monday. ''The GDP per capita at current prices amounted to AED 287,700, while total fixed capital formation was AED 182,341 million, while the compensation of employees was AED 233,573 million,'' showed the annual publication, which closely monitors the whole spectrum of indicators that gauge the comprehensive development taking place across the Emirate.
GDP at constant prices depicts how much goods and services were produced in volume terms and is measured by holding prices constant.
The figures indicated that GDP at constant prices was AED785,591 million in 2017 compared with AED789,716 million in 2016. The GDP per capita at constant prices stood at AED271,500 in 2017 compared to AED271,600 in 2016.
