Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Deputy Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports, received in his office the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Futsal team, along with members of the technical and administrative staff, referees, and workers in the sector, who endeavored diligently to ensure the success of the Minister of Interior’s 16th Futsal Championship Cup for the 2012-2013 sports season.

Al Khaili praised the sports achievement accomplished by the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Futsal team, for winning first place in the Championship, which was organized by the Police Sports Federation and hosted by Ras al-Khaimah Police Headquarters.

“Winning the Championship for 3 times running is a source of honor and pride. The Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector’s athletes are highly appreciated for their honorable participation while competing for titles and sports championships held under the auspices of the Police Sports Federation,” he added.

Al Khaili congratulated the team and both its technical and administrative staff; praising the efforts of all entities supervising sports activities in the sector, and their role in attaining sports achievements. Furthermore, Al Khaili reiterated his support for athletes, as they seek to make further distinguished and honorable results.

He also valued the efforts of sports administrators in the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector, underscoring their important role to attain the highest sports standards, which yielded excellent results in all their sports participations. Concluding, he congratulated all athletes on this achievement and wished them further progress and success.

Attending the meeting were Head of the Deputy Assistant Undersecretary’s Office Colonel Bakhit Al Suwaidi; Lieutenant Colonel Taleb Al Mahmoud, Chief of Media and Public Relations Section in the Deputy Assistant Undersecretary’s Office; and Lieutenant colonel Abdullah Sultan, President of the Sports Committee in the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector.
